Housebuilder appoints new planner

Housebuilder Hayfield has appointed a new planner.
Tamsin McSmith, who became a chartered town planner in 2019, joins the firm from planning consultancy Turley where she worked as a planner in the Birmingham office. She has also previously been a graduate planner for consultancy RPS Planning and Development.
McSmith has a master’s degree in urban studies and planning from the University of Sheffield, and is a member of the West Midlands branches of the Women in Planning Committee and the RTPI Young Planners Committee.
