Hill to lead Bidwells’ Norwich planning team

IainHillProperty firm Bidwells has appointed Iain Hill to head up the planning team in its Norwich office.

In a statement, Bidwells said it has appointed Hill as partner, heading up the planning team located in Upper King Street, Norwich.

The statement said that Hill has more than 17 years’ experience in the planning and development industry. Previous roles have included head of planning with consultancy Ingleton Wood, development manager with developer Targetfollow Estates and associate, planning and development with property firm King Sturge, the statement said.

During this time he has had responsibility for coordinating planning and development services across teams and offices and securing planning permission for a range of high profile development and regeneration projects including North East London NHS Foundation Trust, the University of East Anglia and Broadland Housing at Carrow Quay in Norwich, according to the statement.

Commenting on his new role, Hill said: “I’m really excited to join the planning team at Bidwells and the opportunity this provides. I’m looking forward to working with the range of valued clients that Bidwells has, whilst also maintaining and developing the strong working relationship I have built with other clients across the region in recent years.”

Mike Derbyshire, head of planning at Bidwells, added: “I am delighted Iain has joined us to lead our long-established team in Norwich. His background story from London to Norwich and his market-leading presence locally makes him an ideal fit with Bidwells.”
