Property consultancy GVA has promoted Ben Lewis to director in its planning, development and regeneration team based in Cardiff.

Lewis has worked at the firm for 14 years after joining as a graduate, and most recently served as associate director.

He specialises in the energy sector and has recently worked on the successful planning application for a solar farm in Pembrokshire and an expansion of Tata Steel’s power station in Port Talbot.

GVA senior director Jo Davis said: “Ben is an integral member of our strong planning offer in the Cardiff market and has played a major part in our continued growth.”

Lewis gained a masters in city and regional planning from Cardiff University in 2000, after completing an undergraduate degree in geography at the University of Reading.
