Property consultancy GVA has added two new members of staff to its planning team in Bristol.

Kimberley Brown joins the firm as principal planner from rival firm Bidwells, where she had the same job title.

She is joined by Emma Norman, who joins as a graduate planner after completing a master’s degree in urban planning from the University of the West of England.

Brown started her career as a planner at consultancy RPS Group.

She has a master’s degree in spatial planning from University College London, where she won the Royal Town Planning Institute's Maurice Hellier Award for best overall academic performance.

Jo Davis, regional senior director and senior planner at GVA in Bristol said that the appointments were part of an expansion due to steady business.
