Delta expands as economy recovers

Midlands-based consultancy Delta Planning has responded to a growth of work in the residential, employment and education sectors by expanding its team.

Karin Hartley started this week in the new post of senior planner after spending nine years at the consultancy Turley and, before that, with Tamworth Borough Council. 

Director David Green told Planning: “The commercial property market is enjoying a surge while residential is benefiting thanks to government drives for new housing.

“We are also seeing an increase in appeals work - not all local authorities are willing to abide by national guidance.”

Hartley told Planning: “It's good to see growth across several sectors, I'm looking forward to the diversity of work.”
