Mark AllattProperty development consultancy GL Hearn has restructured its main board of directors.

Mark Allatt (pictured) has been appointed chairman of GL Hearn. He has held senior roles at consultants KPMG, GVA and Deloitte and has been a non-executive director of GL Hearn for almost three years.

Shaun Andrews joins the main board with responsibility to deliver GL Hearn’s London strategy. He has 20 years of experience, and previously spearheaded the firm’s drive into the blue-chip investor and developer sector.

GL Hearn said it planned to capitalise on its growing presence in London, adding that it is putting in place an ambitious plan to become the leading property development consultancy in the capital.

The firm said the property market in the capital is dominating its current and pipeline work, revealing that in 2014 over half of its total forecast income of £28m has been generated from London-based projects.
