Gerald Eve boosts Manchester planning team

Thomas Relph Gerald EveProperty consultancy Gerald Eve has appointed Thomas Relph as senior planning consultant in its Manchester office.

Thomas joins the firm from Nexus Planning’s office in the city, where he worked as a planner with private sector clients including housebuilder Countryside Properties.

His appointment is part of a nationwide expansion programme at Gerald Eve, which has seen 12 new recruits across all departments in the Manchester office in the past year, bringing the headcount to 27.

Harry Spawton, partner at the company said that the appointment reflected the growing strength of the regional development market.

Prior to joining Nexus, Relph was a graduate planner at Bolton planning consultancy Sedgwick Associates.

He has a bachelor’s degree in urban studies and an MPlan degree.
