HOW appointments boost team

Phil Grant is one of four appointments made by Manchester planning consultancy HOW Planning.

Grant joins the team from rival firm Axis, based in Wilmslow, Cheshire, where he specialised in infrastructure and energy projects.

He previously worked with consultancy Drivers Jonas Deloitte, and will work across both planning and environmental assessment work in his new role.

Emma Perrin also joins the team as an environmental planner from consultancy RSK.

Two new graduates have also been appointed – Emma Williams previously worked at Peel as a planning assistant, while Lee Shaw joins direct from Sheffield University.

Gary Halman, managing partner at HOW, said: “We have experienced a huge increase in our retail and environmental work which is why we have made specific appointments in these areas as well as additional appointments to support our growing workload on residential, infrastructure and commercial projects.”
