Hatton joins Weston Homes board

Housebuilder Weston Homes has appointed Steve Hatton to its board.

Hatton is planning and design director at the firm after joining the firm 14 years ago as a graduate trainee.

Weston Homes focuses its efforts on the Home Counties and is currently undergoing an expansion.

Bob Weston, chairman of the company, said: “Steve’s appointment to the board is testament to our commitment to get young people involved in the construction industry.

“Having started his career at 19 years old, Steve has been with us for 14 years.”

During his time at the company, Hatton completed a bachelor of arts in urban and environmental planning and a post graduate diploma in town planning from London South Bank University.

Weston said that the firm currently has around 10 per cent of its employees on sponsored training schemes.
