Two former senior staff members at consultancy Peter Brett Associates (PBA) have left to launch a new firm.

Q+A Planning, which has offices in London, Manchester and Warwick, has been set up by directors Chris Quinsee and Ruth Child.

Prior to setting up Q+A Planning, Quinsee was an equity partner at PBA, whilst Child was a director.

According to a statement from Q+A Planning, both have “strong track records in securing major planning consents for a wide variety of developments including retail, residential, distribution and logistics, industrial, leisure and mixed use schemes, in locations across the UK”.

Quinsee and Child have been joined by planners Peter Keenan and Tom Hallett, who, according to the statement, have “wide-ranging planning expertise and have secured consents for clients in the retail, commercial and residential development sectors”.

Chris Quinsee, director of Q+A Planning, said: “I am delighted to launch Q+A Planning together with Ruth and our team of respected planners. The team has huge experience in planning across a variety of sectors, and this new venture will allow us to further develop our key retail, residential and commercial planning consultancy services across the UK.

“We are already acting for a range of large clients, including Aviva Investors, Elysium Healthcare, Next and NewRiver Retail, among many others. 2017 is set to be an important year for us as we look to further expand our client portfolio and grow our core team in line with our projected business growth.”
