Former Peter Brett associate sets up new firm

A former senior associate at consultancy Peter Brett Associates (PBA) has launched her own firm, Horizon Spatial Planning.

Shilpa Rasaiah worked at PBA’s Midlands offices in Leicester and then Birmingham as a senior town planner.

Rasaiah said she has now set up her own firm "providing support to local authorities who are developing their local plan evidence such as housing and economic land availability assessments (HELAAs), infrastructure studies, assessing the deliverability of strategic development sites for local plan allocations". 

Rasaiah will remain based in the East Midlands, but intends to work nationally. 

She said: "I am excited about the opportunities of working with a wide range of clients in helping them to develop local plans that are grounded in evidence that helps to create effective change."
