Environ hires Naylor

Rachel Naylor Environ

Consultancy Environ has appointed Rachel Naylor as a manager in its impact assessment and planning practice.

Naylor joins the firm after nine years at consultancy URS, where she performed a number of roles relating to planning and the environment, with expertise relating to environmental impact assessments.

She will focus on London and the South East in her new role, working out of Environ’s London office.

Denise Wright, principal in Environ’s impact assessment and planning practice, said: “London and the South East are seeing a clear resurgence in development and this is being reflected in the number of applications the team is involved in.

"Rachel’s in-depth knowledge of the boroughs’ various planning requirements, view management frameworks, daylight and sunlight assessments, socio-economic issues and other elements needed to successfully secure consent here – will make her a valuable asset.”

Naylor has an masters in environmental impact assessment and is a member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA).
