Planning consultancy and law firm DMH Stallard is growing its town planning team in its Gatwick office near London.

The firm is advertising for a planner to join its team to work alongside other planners and commercial property lawyers on development and strategic planning projects.

The successful candidate will be expected to work across strategic allocations, district and neighbourhood plan representations as well as preparing planning applications for commercial and residential schemes.

A spokeswoman for the firm told Planning: “We are currently extremely busy with a range of instructions, and are looking to expand the team due to a rise in workload.”

Candidates will be expected to have previous experience of dealing with planning applications as well as planning legislation, including case law.

The role will involve looking at documents and visiting local authorities across the whole of the South East of England.

DMH Stallard’s planning and environment division comprises a team of legal experts and chartered town planners to deliver planning consultancy services.

In addition to its Gatwick office, it has branches in London, Guildford, Farnham and Brighton.
