Regeneration demands prompt DLA expansion

Duncan ChadwickConsultancy David Lock Associates (DLA) is looking to expand by several members of staff to help it cope with rising workloads, including a growing number of regeneration projects.

Partner Duncan Chadwick (pictured) told Planning: "With more regeneration projects, research and other work we are in need of planners and urban designers to support and help our existing team.

"We are currently handling a wide range of developments across the country from large new settlements and sustainable urban extensions to smaller and medium-scale schemes."

The firm is looking to recruit senior, principal and associate level planners and senior or principal level urban designers.

Chadwick said: "The new posts will expand our team of 37 planners and 15 urban designers to help meet future challenges as our project list continues to grow."
