Director appointed to head up planning consultancy’s new office

Planning consultancy nineteen47 has opened a new office in Sheffield, headed up by planner Clare Plant.

Clare Plant has been appointed to head up the new office, at Acero in Sheffield city centre, as a director.

She was formerly a director at consultancy DLP Planning.

Plant told Planning that she will be joined by existing planning and urban design colleagues and the firm anticipates further recruitment to support emerging workloads.

The firm has also promoted planner Rebecca Beardsley to senior planner in its Nottingham office.

Beardsley joined the firm in 2019 from her previous role as a planner at consultancy Planning Design.

The firm also has an office in York and Nottingham.
