Keyland Developments, the property trading arm of Kelda Group and sister-company to Yorkshire Water, has appointed a new land and planning director.
According to the firm, Luke Axe, who joined the firm in 2016, is currently strategic land and planning manager. He has led the planning team working on sites across Yorkshire, the company said, and was responsible for devising Keyland’s blueprint for sustainable development.
Before joining Keyland, he was a senior planner at consultancy Turley and also spent six years working at Three Rivers District Council as a team leader in development management. Axe has a master’s degree in planning policy and practice from London South Bank University.
Earlier this year, Matthew Turnbull left planning consultancy Peacock + Smith where he worked as an associate to join Keyland as a planning and development manager, and Beth McQue was promoted from development planner to planning and development manager.
