A developer has expanded its planning team to cope with increasing demand for residential and mixed-use projects.

Lioncourt Strategic Land has appointed Jordan Langdon-Bates from Cheltenham Borough Council as a graduate planner.

Strategic land director Andy Faizey told Planning: “Increasing demand has fuelled expansion and Jordan will be involved primarily in the growth of our strategic land portfolio.

“This involves identification of suitable sites through appraising the development potential of land in and around the main towns and settlements across the central England region.

“As sites come forward for planning permission we need to replace that level of stock as well as grow the business".
