Gina Small has been appointed as a joint delivery team manager across three local authorities in the south of England.

Small, previously principal transport planning officer at Devon County Council, has been appointed to lead a partnership of Plymouth City Council, South Hams District Council and Devon County Council to deliver the growth planned in the Plymouth Urban Fringe.

She said: “I will be building a dedicated and proactive team driving forward the economic growth planned for the Urban Fringe.

“A key part of this will be setting the priorities and building an identity for the Urban Fringe by raising its profile and aspirations. It will also include guiding proposals through master-planning, resolving viability issues, negotiation with developers throughout the scheme’s life, and looking ahead to unlock funding deals to delivery infrastructure”.
