Spilsbury moves to CBRE as senior planning director

Property consultancy CBRE has hired a director at planning consultancy Turley as its new senior director for planning and development.

Chartered planner Matt Spilsbury joins CBRE, leaving his role as Turley’s director and head of development viability.

Spilsbury, who is also a chartered surveyor, held this role for more than five years and worked at Turley for more than eight years in total. He has also previously worked as the principal consultant for planning and development at consultancy GVA.

Spilsbury has a master’s degree from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in land use planning and management/ development.
