Council planning team expands to meet rising demand

North Lincs' officesA local authority planning team has expanded to help it tackle increasing workloads across all sectors.

North Lincolnshire Council has recruited James Roberts as a senior planning officer. He joined from Wakefield Council in West Yorkshire where he was employed as a planning officer.

He told Planning: “I am dealing with a full range of planning applications including residential, commercial and agricultural applications.”

Principal development control officer David Wordsworth said: “The senior planning officer role will involve dealing with a broad and complex range of planning applications, appeals and associated work. 

“North Lincolnshire is an attractive area and offers ambitious planners the chance to be involved with delivering major residential, industrial and infrastructure schemes.”
