Planning and regeneration consultancy Nexus Planning has made Amanda Balson director to beef up its planning presence in London.

Balson, who joined from Terence O’Rourke, will lead Nexus’s London team as it looks to expand and secure additional projects across both the public and private sectors.

Managing director Roger Tustain told Planning: “Nexus has grown significantly in the past 24 months since the company’s launch and it’s an exciting time for Amanda to be joining us".

Balson said: “I have watched Nexus go from strength to strength recently and have been impressed by the team’s intelligent, evidence-based approach to the planning process.”

Nexus Planning has offices Weybridge and Manchester as well as London and was formed out of global architecture and design practice Broadway Malyan in 2013.
