Consultancy P4 Planning has promoted two of its associates to directors in its Manchester office.

Associates Rhian Thomas and Gillian Worden have been promoted to directors, which the consultancy said reflects the experience and contribution they have made in “helping to successfully guide the business through the last 12 months”.

The firm said that Thomas is set to head up internal culture and people development and Worden will lead on developing long-standing client relationships, future business growth and marketing. Both will be based at the firm’s new offices in Manchester’s Little Lever Street.

Thomas joined P4 Planning in 2018 and is leading projects for the University of Liverpool.

Before joining P4 Planning, she was an associate at engineering firm Halcrow, and before that she worked as a senior planning consultant at planning consultancy Rapleys.

Worden joined the firm in 2019 and has been heading up projects including for developer Watson Homes.

She was previously a senior planning consultant at consultancy Chrome Planning, a consultant at consultancy Walsingham Planning, and an assistant planner at infrastructure company The Peel Group.

The firm’s founder and managing director Bill Davidson, said: “I have known both Rhian and Gillian for many years, having appointed and worked with them early on in their careers.

"Whilst our paths went different ways it has been great to be working with them again as part of the P4 team and these promotions are the perfect acknowledgement of all their experience, hard work and commitment.”
