Consultancy promotes staff on the back of residential growth

The thriving residential sector in Manchester has prompted a consultancy to make two senior promotions.

Indigo Planning has promoted Andrew Johnston (pictured) to associate director and Jen Popplewell to senior planner in the company's Manchester office.

Johnston, a specialist in residential and commercial sectors, recently helped gain planning consent for a 40-hectare urban extension to the Gateford area of Worksop, for 750 new homes and a primary school. 

Meanwhile, Popplewell will manage several the company’s major residential and commercial residential projects. 

Director Doug Hann told Planning: “Andrew’s promotion will ensure our clients continue to receive effective strategic advice to help them secure major planning consents across the region.”
