Collett joins Miller Homes in planning role

Rob Collett has joined Miller Homes as planning manager, based in the firm’s Basingstoke office.

Collett joins the firm from his previous role at rival housebuilder Barratt David Wilson, where worked in an equivalent position.

In his new role, Collett will be responsible for planning issues related to land acquisitions, identifying planning strategies and coordinating and submitting planning applications.

Prior to joining David Wilson, he worked for planning consultancy WYG Group as an associate – joining in 2005 and leaving in 2013.

He also worked for Adams Hendry Consulting as a senior planner and began his career in planning as an assistant planner at Tetlow King Planning in 2001.

Collett has a master’s in town planning and a bachelors in town and country planning, both gained from the University of the West of England.
