Chichester District Council is expanding its planning policy team to help it carry out a review of its local plan.

The council adopted its local plan in 2015. The document sets the strategic vision for the development in the district between 2014 and 2029.

A planning inspector recommended the plan for adoption with the proviso that an early review was carried out.

Now, the council is working on the review and is looking to take on additional expertise to tackle the challenge.

The council is looking to recruit an additional planning policy officer.
