Cheffins boosts planning team

Property consultancy Cheffins has appointed Jon Jennings as departmental director.

Jennings (pictured right) joins from Strutt and Parker, where he was head of planning for three years. Before this he was a principal planner at Pegasus Planning Group.

Planning and development director Ian Smith (left) said Cheffins had recently spearheaded a number of large housing schemes and work for rural businesses and landowners. 

“Jon has over 25 years of experience in the planning industry as well as significant local knowledge of the greater Cambridge region,” said Smith.

His appointment follows Cheffins’ recent announcement that planner Ben Pridgeon had been promoted to associate.
