CBRE has boosted its planning operations across the South West and South Wales with the appointment of a new team to lead on development projects.

In a statement, CBRE has announced that Marcus Plaw has joined it as planning director and Philip Marsden as associate director at its Bristol office.

CBRE said that Plaw joins from Lambert Smith Hampton and has over 20 years' experience of the South West market.

Marsden joins from Savills where he worked within the commercial planning team, specialising in retail, office and leisure schemes, on a UK wide basis.

Plaw said: “As the planning system continues to change and bring forward new development challenges, I look forward to working with other departments to deliver effective advice and solutions to new and existing clients across the South West and Wales."
