Property consultancy CBRE has hired a new director and an associate director for its planning team.

Michelle Simpson-Gallego will work as a director in its Birmingham office across the Midlands and South West, according to the firm.

Simpson-Gallego leaves planning consultancy Pegasus Group where she was an associate director and spent 17 years.

She started her career in the public sector before joining Pegasus Group as a planning consultant.

Meanwhile, Isabel Keppel has joined CBRE’s Bristol office as an associate director to lead its South West planning offer.

Keppel has relocated from the firm’s London office where she worked since 2014 as a senior town planner.

Keppel has previously worked as a planner at consultancy Arup in Bristol and consultancy AECOM in London.

Simon Phillips, director and head of CBRE’s Midlands and South West planning team, said: “These latest appointments are a direct response to increasing demand for our services and to support the future growth plans of the business throughout the region.”
