Hannah Grey has joined the Glasgow office of property consultancy CBRE as a graduate planner.

Grey is due to graduate from Newcastle University with a master’s degree in town and country planning.

Her new role will involve assisting other members of the team with research helping towards planning applications and other work.

Grey told Planning: “My original degree was in management from Manchester Business School.

“I worked in the finance department of an engineering company for a year before deciding to switch careers to become a planner. I had always been interested in the subject and am excited to be working in the sector.”

Grey has recently submitted her dissertation covering the impact of food poverty on health, which involved using GIS mapping skills.
