Ian Stevens Savills Bristol

Property advisor Savills has appointed Ian Stevens as a senior planner in its Bristol office.

Stevens was previously a senior planning officer at Conwy County Borough Council in north Wales, where he had worked since last year.

Stevens’ new job will involve working on the community infrastructure levy, strategic sites and planning appraisals.

He told Planning: “I decided to take the role because it gives me the opportunity to try new things within a dynamic work environment.”

Stevens gained a masters in civic design, land use planning and management from the University of Liverpool in 2009. His bachelors degree in geography was awarded by the University of Manchester in 2007.

Stevens also works as a volunteer for Planning Aid Wales.
