Developer makes planning appointment to drive growth

One of the UK's biggest housebuilders has recruited a new strategic land director to help grow it’s portfolio across the West Midlands, Wales and North West.

Samuel Stafford, who joins Barratt Developments from consultancy GVA, told Planning: “A key priority for the business is security of supply. We want to treble the number of homes built from the strategic land portfolio by 2020. 

"To do this at a time when regional land markets are seeing sustained price growth, and with so much going on in the planning world is very exciting.”
