Bellway planning director joins Surrey developer

Chartered planner Andrew Munton has joined Surrey-based development firm Reside Developments as a director.

Munton joins after serving for eight years as South East regional planning director with Bellway Homes.

Munton gained a MRTPI qualification after his undergraduate degree in environmental science.

Munton said: “Having spent the last eight years working for a national housebuilder, I am looking forward to working with an independent company. 

“Being able to implement some free thinking, find new innovative ways of solving problems and make decisions without the restrictions and time constraints which are mandatory when working in a multi-division PLC, will be immensely satisfying.”

In his previous role, Munton was involved in planning negotiations for 10,000 new homes planned at Ebbsfleet, Kent.
