Council planning manager joins Boyer as a director
Chartered town planner Liz Beighton has joined planning consultancy Boyer as a director.
Beighton will join the consultancy’s Colchester office, leaving her previous role as a planning manager at East Suffolk Council, where she spent 12 years delivering residential, commercial, education and healthcare developments.
Beighton said: “I will be looking to utilise my skills gained in both the private and public sector to help our client base navigate through the complexities of the planning process. I will be assisting existing and new clients with their site promotions through the local plan process and will also be working with a range of clients to secure planning permission and maximise their development potential.”
She has a diploma in public sector leadership and management from the University of Birmingham, a master’s degree in town planning from the University of Newcastle, and a degree in town planning studies from London South Bank University.
