Planning consultancy Barton Willmore has made two appointments.

Mark Utting (above) has joined the firm as a planner, having previously worked as a planner at architects and planners West Waddy ADP, and Lois Partridge has joined the team as a senior planner.

Both have joined Barton Willmore’s Reading office and will project manage a wide range of small, medium, and large projects in a variety of sectors in the Thames Valley and south of England.

Their key responsibilities will include project management; advising clients of potential development opportunities; preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals; and making policy representations.

Both take new positions within the team. Barton Willmore said the new posts come in response to an increasing workload in the region and a sign of an improving market.
