Barton Willmore has strengthened its Manchester team with the appointment of two directors and one associate.

In a statement, the firm said that Greg Dickson has joined as planning director after previously working at Turley for ten years.

The consultancy said that Dickson has a “wealth of experience in the private sector including the promotion of major housing schemes, the delivery of town/city centre development projects and advice to assist the progress of major logistics schemes and strategic transport infrastructure”.

Accompanying Dickson’s appointment, Steven Grimster, who has been with Barton Willmore since 2011, has been promoted from planning associate to planning director.

The firm said that Dickson has “extensive experience of a range of major residential, commercial and infrastructure projects across large parts of Cheshire and Merseyside”.

Barton Willmore has also appointed Nicole Roe (pictured) as a planning associate. She joins from NJL Consulting and brings with her 11 years’ experience of retail planning within Manchester, the firm said.
