Axe joins Keyland Developments from Turley

Luke Axe Keyland DevelopmentsLuke Axe has been appointed as planning manager at Keyland Developments, the property trading arm of water and sewerage business Kelda Group.

Chartered planner Axe joins from planning consultancy Turley, where he was senior planner, providing planning advice to clients across Yorkshire and the North East.

In his new role, he will be responsible for taking strategic sites through the planning process in the north of England.

Peter Garrett, managing director at Keyland, said that Axe had been appointed to help Keyland regenerate a number of sites owned by Kelda subsidiary Yorkshire Water through planning promotional agreements.

Before joining Turley, Axe worked as principal town planner and then development management team leader at Three Rivers District Council.

He has a master’s degree in planning policy and practice from London South Bank University.
