Pegasus Group has expanded its Manchester office to tackle increasing workloads thrown up by planning appeals and neighbourhood plans.

Marc Watterson joined from IBI Group as associate planner and Rebecca Dennis from AEW Architects as senior planner. Hollie Bryant moves from Pegasus' Bristol office as principal planner.

Director Seb Tibenham told Planning: “Residential work is a big driver. But a lot of projects are being dismissed irrespective of the NPPF, creating a lot of work through the appeals process.

“Meanwhile there is lots of activity around neighbourhood plans, which all involves more work in areas such as monitoring: everywhere you turn, there's a new thing to take on board.”
