Anderson joins Cushman & Wakefield

Ian Anderson, Cushman & WakefieldIan Anderson has moved to property consultancy Cushman & Wakefield after 12 years at rival firm CBRE.

Anderson will become senior director in the development and planning team based in London.

He had an equivalent role at CBRE, where he worked with clients including John Lewis and Waitrose. 

Tim Johnson, head of the development and planning team at Cushmans, said that the appointment would help reinforce the company’s town planning business as part of a strategy to offer broader development services across the UK.

Anderson is chairman of the planning group of retail property membership body the BCSC.

He has also been an associate tutor at the College of Estate Management for more than 10 years.

He has a master's diploma in town planning from the University of Nottingham.
