CBRE promotes Robinson to planning chairman

Stuart Robinson has been promoted from head of planning to chairman of planning at CBRE UK.

Speaking to Planning Robinson said planning consultancy had become "incredibly complex not just in generic areas such as retail and residential planning".

"We have a much wider range of clients such as investors", he said.

“This means our level of understanding has to be that much greater because it's important to de-risk the process for our clients.

“It also means we can have several directors working with the same client, but someone has to pick up the threads to ensure the client gets consistency. That person will be me.”
