Job Details
We are currently working with an Essex based Local Planning Authority to source a Planning Officer to join the department and assist the team. The role will involve working on a high volume of pre-apps and as such, is a great opportunity for graduate planners.
The contract length is deemed to be a minimum of 3-months, though if all goes well it is highly likely you will be extended, subject to quality and demand for work. The rate for this position has been left open, with the hiring manager willing to go out to market rate.
The council offices are located in a beautiful town in Essex, easily commutable from Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire. For this role, you will need to have a full driver's license and access to a car. You must be able to work in an efficient and timely manner, as well as completing work to a high standard.
