Keen to step up to Senior Planner level with structured progression to Associate grade? Or considering your options as an Associate?
Our client’s London office is seeking either an experienced Senior Planner or Associate Planner to join their established team, to grow and develop the division further alongside providing mentoring to junior planners. You’ll be joining one of the largest Planning teams in the country who have multiple offices across the UK and Europe.
The Senior/Associate Planner will work on some of the UK’s most important strategic development sites and infrastructure projects. Regularly working other planning, environmental and design services offered by the firm, you’ll be a key point of contact for clients. The Senior/Associate Planner will be offered a varied workload from Local Plan allocations to major planning applications and everything in between.
Essential requirements
- An RTPI accredited Honours Degree and/or Diploma or master’s Qualification
- A full member of the Royal Town Planning Institute
- Excellent knowledge of a technical discipline including the current methods, legislation, techniques and guidance
- Significant experience of delivering consultancy to a range of clients
- Excellent writing skills and ability to provide robust written deliverables on behalf of the business
- Competent user of the complete Microsoft office package
- Knowledge of project management coupled with a solid understanding of financial management
- Great attention to detail and able to prioritise workload (both team and individual)
- Previous line management experience
