We are an ambitious Council, located in the heart of ‘1066 Country’ in South East England. As part of a review of staffing for a time of planned growth in the main towns and key villages of the district we are recruiting two experienced, motivated and qualified professionals to join our Strategy and Planning Service on permanent contracts. With experience of detailed work in relation to listed buildings and conservation matters the successful applicant for the post will give specialist professional advice, primarily related to the council’s planning and listed building casework. The district has a rich conservation heritage and includes the historic towns of Battle and Rye as well as the architecture of the High Weald. We are willing to consider a range of flexible working patterns.
