This is an exciting role for a Graduate Planner to join our highly experienced planning and development team. The position will suit someone with a Town Planning or related degree, such as Geography or Surveying working towards a MRTPI qualification (or equivalent). 

Gladman Scotland is a leading strategic housing land promoter with a focus on the early delivery of residential sites. These are progressed through the planning system after being identified through detailed settlement analysis and housing delivery research.

As a Town Planning Graduate or with a related degree (or similar experience) you will have the skills and ability to research new land opportunities and source suitable sites throughout Scotland.

It is expected that the successful candidate will be able to work in a team environment as well as show individual initiative and be able to adapt and communicate their research to different audiences.

The role is a permanent position based in Livingston, West Lothian (close to Edinburgh) and the candidate will be expected to travel throughout Scotland. The role is ideally suited to someone looking to develop their career in a growing strategic land company.  


Generous salary commensurate with the level of experience. Hours are 40 per week. Gladman operates an optional flexible working scheme with the ability to work a 9 day fortnight. 26 days holiday per year plus 9 statutory (bank holidays). 5% salary paid into our company pension scheme and private medical insurance is provided. The chosen candidate should have a clean driving licence and their own car.
