Business Co-ordinator(Strategic and Local infrastructure projects)
We have an exciting opportunity become available for a Business Co-ordinator within our Development Management team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed individual, who will ideally have some knowledge and experience in Town Planning and/or accounting. You will play a key part in delivering our growth plans by ensuring that funding contributions to support local infrastructure projects throughout the district are collected, monitored and secured.
Sutton’s Development Management team has a leading role in enabling the development and regeneration of a number of large and important sites throughout the borough. The Team has an excellent performance record and has delivered on a number of significant projects, most notably within Sutton Town Centre and Hackbridge, alongside notable schemes in other district and industrial centres in the borough. We have played a critical role in delivering our ambitious growth plans which has, to date, secured a significant level of new investment and our enabling approach to development, particularly in our town centres, has unlocked this.
The post holder will work across several Council Services responsible for the receipt, monitoring and distribution of Community Infrastructure Levy at a Strategic and Local level, liaising with Finance, the Planning Service and Community and Engagement Teams. The post holder will assist in updating s106 procedures, reviewing and reconciling contributions against current records and co-ordinate a comprehensive manual which consolidates all current procedures. In addition, the role includes the line management for a technical support team of 4 staff.

Grade: 8 ranging from £31,998 up to £39,147, per annum, with earning potential of £41,025, depending on performance. The successful candidate will be appointed on a scale appropriate to their experience.
