With an abundance of land for development, world-class transport and digital infrastructure, and a young, energetic and increasingly skilled workforce, the Borough is ideally placed to accommodate much of London’s growth in the 21st century. As development and investment in the UK’s capital moves steadily eastwards, Newham is set to become a new heart for London.  This is a rare opportunity to join this high performing Planning Enforcement team.

This is a key role in the wider Management team and you will play an integral role in safeguarding the quality of the Borough’s built environment and spaces, aligning with our values and vision to make Newham a place where people choose to live, work and stay.

As the Planning Enforcement Manager you will be responsible for leading the Planning Enforcement Team, commanding an in-depth and up to date, knowledge of planning policy, law, working practices and procedures.
