Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Monitoring and Compliance Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for a CIL, Monitoring and Compliance Officer to join Planning Services (Development Management). This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a hardworking team who are passionate about the development of Wakefield District.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed individual, who will ideally have some knowledge and experience in Town Planning. You will be the key contact for CIL within the Team and play a significant role ensuring that funding contributions to support local infrastructure projects throughout the district are collected and secured. As the work crosses professional boundaries and involves partnerships within and outside the Council; there may be an opportunity to become involved in some planning case work. You will need to be able to demonstrate that you are an effective communicator. You will be expected to accurately calculate contributions and analyse and record data and maintain precise records.

We can offer a new, conveniently located city centre office, with flexible working arrangements, access to business pool cars / public transport and personal travel plan and subsidised public transport. We would consider candidates who are seeking full or part-time working arrangements; however a minimum of three working days per week would be required.
