Summary
A growing consultancy with offices across the midlands are looking to add two experienced Flood Risk consultants to lead and develop their teams across the region.

The Business
One of the region's leading consulting development engineers this business has been growing consistently year-on-year since they were established over 8 years ago by the existing directors and can now boast 5 offices and over 50 people! They have identified 2017/18 as a year for significant growth within the business and are working to an ambitious business plan to double in size in the next 2/3 years, providing great opportunities for the people within the business to grow.
An independent consultancy that is dedicated to providing a client focussed approach across a wide of range of disciplines including Civil Engineering, Transportation, Flood Risk, Structural Engineering and more.

The Opportunity
Thanks to a highly successful, commercially aware team spread over 4 offices across the midlands this busy consultancy is looking to grow significantly over the next 12 months. They are looking to bring fee-earners and experienced business developers on board to drive the business forward and build teams around them to manage an expanding workload.
You will be reporting directly to the Directors of the business in a growth-related role that will be tailored to your specific strengths.
This is a permanent position, offering a competitive salary and an attractive benefits package including 25 days' holiday and a variety of optional flexible benefits.

What you'll need
·Educated to a minimum standard of BEng in Civil Engineering studies or other related degree.
·Minimum 5 years' relevant experience, including design, management, full knowledge of civil engineering design standards and business development.
·Chartered Engineer and member of The Institution of Civil Engineers or Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management or working towards Chartered Engineer status.
·Achieve minimum of 5 days continuing professional development (CPD) per year.
·Proficient using Micro Drainage, XP Storm, Hec-Ras, Tuflow and ISIS software packages.
·Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and PDS design software.
·Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office.
·Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team. This will also involve working with various other disciplines and offices within M-EC and external organisations.
·Self-motivated individual with desire to not only work within the team but also have ambition to help it grow and develop. Mentoring/supervision of trainee staff to develop their knowledge and skills.
·Working knowledge of health and safety standards and adhere to them at all times; hold CSCS card and understand correct use of personal protective equipment. Understanding the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015.
