Principal Planner (Development Management) Post Number: TD104 Grade: POA Salary: £30,480 - £33,106 pro rata Hours: 18.5 per week (Job Share)
Harrogate is one of the largest shire districts in England, recognised for its quality urban and rural environment. Development pressures are challenging and expectations are high.
We are seeking an experienced and performance orientated planner who relishes the challenge of applying their planning knowledge to the determination of large planning applications. You will require excellent organisational, negotiation and communication skills.
You will have a degree level qualification in Planning recognised by the RTPI. A full driving licence is essential.
The successful candidate will be joining us at a very exciting and challenging time as we work towards Publication of the District’s Local Plan. 2017 will also see us moving to a new, purpose built office and civic centre in Harrogate town.
