£38,000 - £50,000 + Profit share scheme + 8% Contributory pension
One of the largest engineering firms on the planet are looking to add to their specialist Town Planning unit with an experienced Principal Town Planner.
My client is renowned the world over as an expert in all manner of engineering fields and has worked on some of the largest projects across the globe. After a surge of work towards the end of last year, they are looking to expand their Town Planning department in their flagship Central London offices. The Principal Town Planner will be MRTPI qualified or due to become Chartered in the near future and will hold a full driving licence.
The Principal Town Planner will lead the planning team on a range of medium to large scale projects which will cover the Residential, Retail, Commercial, Heritage and Environmental sectors. You will act as a vital part of the planning process, ensuring that planning applications are dealt with in a professional manner whilst acting as the company's representative to major clients.
The Principal Town Planner will be a member of the RTPI with other accreditations being advantageous. You will have a minimum of 4 years' planning experience with previous experience in the private sector being strongly advantageous. The Principal Town Planner will be an expert communication, hold a strong network of clients and be able to hold their own in pressurised situations.
