The GLA is recruiting for an Assistant Director to lead both the Planning Decisions Unit and the London Plan Team. This is the most exciting role in planning in the capital. Working closely with the Mayor and Deputy Mayor for Planning, Regeneration and Skills, you will lead a team of planning, design and policy professionals who are responsible for the development and implementation of the London Plan and the day to day running of the city's Planning Decisions Unit.

You will need extensive experience of both development planning and planning policy development, credibility amongst your profession and the wider development community. Additionally, the ability to work with our key partners, the London Boroughs, understanding their priorities, aspirations and constraints is essential.
